Founded in Kidderminster, Brintons Carpets has masterfully balanced tradition with innovation throughout its history. The company holds one of the industry's largest historical pattern libraries and maintains its position as the world's largest user of British wool, with one in nine British sheep contributing to Brintons carpets. This aligns with the company's support of the Campaign for Wool, initiated by His Majesty King Charles III, championing wool's natural and sustainable benefits.
Brintons' expertise spans both Wilton and Axminster carpet constructions, with the latter's patented design dating back to 1890. While the company pioneered the industry-standard 80/20 wool-nylon blend in 1950, it has recently expanded its focus to include environmentally conscious 100% undyed wool collections. The new Purely Natural range exemplifies this commitment, offering patterns, plaids, and coordinating plains that combine sustainability with the durability Brintons is renowned for.
